Career Highlights

My career spans more than 15 years with experience leading agency and in-house teams across digital, traditional, social, and media relations strategies. I pride myself on maintaining a strategic focus on brand building, telling authentic stories, driving demonstrated business results, and working as part of a collaborative team.

Some of the work I’m most proud of…

Xbox : I lead the team of creatives, strategists, and producers responsible for developing the digital campaigns and immersive experiences to launch a collection of Xbox games in support of the XboxOne rollout. We supported four game titles across two release seasons. Our work for Sunset Overdrive was highly creative and bootstrappy – creating assets when were didn’t have then. Pre-launch media was pumped about the game, calling it “the best Xbox game of the year, “ and the creative was an official honoree of the Webby Awards. Xbox’s Corporate Vice President also hailed the campaign as the best, most disruptive digital work they had ever produced.

Chevron : My formative creative work. I was lucky enough to work side by side with the Creative Director who concept-ed the original Chevron Talking Cars ads. A brilliant insight led to a 15+ year creative campaign educating consumers about the quality of Chevron gasoline and tapping into their love of their cars. Ad Age named it “the campaign of the decade.” I coordinated ad creation across stadium signage, national broadcast, magazines, outdoor billboards, at-the-pump signage, radio, digital banner ads, even toy creation – all laddering up the Talking Cars campaign strategy. I carry the insights and realatable appeal of this work to my career today.

Propeller : I initiated the effort to evaluate Propeller’s brand. While we consistently received feedback about the unique look and feel of our visual identity, the company was growing quickly and the existing brand was more than five years old. We developed a new logo, tagline, and visual style to better position Propeller as a growing company with clients across the US. I also introduced a content marketing plan to grow leadership presence in support of aggressive revenue goals. One of the key aspects of our success was a robust communications plan inclusive of brand storytelling, PR, thought leadership, and blog and social content – a highlight of which was a byline article in Fast Company and eight additional earned media highlights

Marriott : Drove all advertising efforts for nine resort hotel and vacation ownership properties in one of Marriott’s most successful global regions - Hawaii. Advertising included print, digital, trade, and event. Additionally, was part of a small select team to initiate marketing positioning and promotional development for Marriott’s first property in a new market, Fiji.
